Imagine
-- a cool crisp blue sky winter day. Overnight the mountains received a blanket
of knee deep West Kootenay powder.
After a forty five minute tour
through the snow laden trees we arrive at an unsuspecting peak. Just
below, the tall scented trees are perfectly spaced, linking meadow after meadow
-- waiting to be skied.
The snow crystals and hoar
sparkle in the sunlight. One by one we bob through the powder of white
like a child in a jolly jumper.
A fantastic start to a gorgeous
day.
